The Volleyball Home at Angul, while hosting the final match of the tournament, also celebrated the birthday of Shri Naveen Jindal, admiring him as a multi-talented, patriotic industrialist and an ardent lover of sports.
Mr. Naveen Jindal is currently serving his third term as a Member of Parliament, elected from the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency, and is the Chairman of the Indian Steel Association. He has been conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Texas, USA. Mr. Naveen Jindal is also the Founding Chancellor of OP Jindal Global University, ranked as the No. 1 private university in India under the QS rankings.
This year, JSP is celebrating “Celebrating the Legacy,” a tribute that began on March 9, Mr. Naveen Jindal’s birthday, and will conclude on March 20, honoring the birthday of Smt. Savitri Jindal, Chairperson Emeritus of Jindal Group.
